We old guys and gals can sometimes learn from children. What beautiful stories, both of them.
Our Pastor's Daughter, who just turned 10 years old, did a similar kind thing a couple of years ago. The way I heard it, Janie, (not her real name) had been bullied by another girl in her class on a previous occasion. But on this particular day, they were both in the lunch line, and the bully had no lunch or money to buy lunch. Evidently Janie was next in line and heard her (the bully) comment about no money. So Janie, without hesitation, told the other girl, "you can put it on my ticket," and so she bought the other girls lunch. Janie was 8-9 years old when she did what I call "a grownup thing" for the other girl. What great things we see sometimes, and it's such a blessing to hear about.
Have a blessed day,
Leon
