. After several years of living in filthy conditions and

being forced to produce 10 times more milk than they would naturally,

their exhausted bodies are turned into hamburgers or ground up for

soup.

And of course, the veal industry could not survive without the dairy

industry.

And so, what's the problem? Milk, hamburgers, soup, and veal, delicious veal!

How many lactating female homo sapiens will we need to keep penned up in feedlots to supplant the current cow crop? Who will we find to keep them impregnated? And until and unless cannibalsim finds favor, looks like we can kiss off veal. Another excellent idea brought to the table (so to speak) by PETA...

I really get a kick out of PETA. They never run out of ways or miss an oppotunity to prove their insanity. I've gotten many laughs from them down thru the years. Remember their letter to Ben and Jerry's asking them to use human breast milk to make their ice cream? . What a bunch of fools!

They must be nuts. In certain parts of the usa due to Polution the mother's milk if sold or dispensed in any other container would be labeled by the the FDA as unfit for human consumption. They actually did this in the late fifties when the countries were doing all of the nuke testing.
On a lighter note a woman was trying to breast feed a baby on a passenger train and was heard saying to the child "if you don't take it I will give it to the conductor"

Good god that's laughable. Mammals will produce milk for as long as they are nursing. In fact, you can get a cow to produce milk just by hooking it up to a milking machine, no pregnancy is required. BTW, the same can be accomplished with a human female, and with a bit of hormone assistance, a human male. The hormones produced during pregnancy only make the start of lactation more comfortable, they aren't actually required.

As in everything else, PETA is exhibiting and alarming lack of knowledge about anything.
