The Local Gun Range this weekend

Took the wife with me to the gun range this weekend. We wanted to put a few more rounds through her 9mm Shield. I brought my M&P FS 9mm. We get to the range and I asked for two boxes 9mm and two Zombie targets. The guy politely told us that they were out of all 9mm ammo. This is highly unusual at this range. They usually have plenty! (the ammo shelf looked bare) I hope for his sake his supply comes back soon as he is usually packed on the weekends. Luckily we had a few boxes with us or it would have been a short outing!
On a side note he did have 3 brand new M&P 15-22's up on the wall. Made me want to Kick Brass!

These days

These days I never expect to find any merchandise concerning firearms on the shelves. If they actually have something I want in the store at that time, I'll buy it. It was good that you had back up plans because it's easy to get disappointed expecting ammo, primers, bullets, etc. to be on the shelf.

I went to Walmart for a few things yesterday, the only handgun ammo they had was some .25acp, the only rimfire was some cb caps. Ammo is the new gold.
