I don't smoke cigars very often, usually when I'm grillin' meat.
Just seems to go well with a cold beer or 2 or... and a hot grill.
I've been smoking Swisher Sweets Perfectos and one time this summer, I fired up the grill, got a cold one and reached for a cigar only to find out that I had none.
After that I went to the liquor store for more beer and picked up a coupla cigarillos. Those were done before the charcoal was ready.
So, I started a thread to find suggestions on cigars and boy did I get responses.

Pawngal, who was a regular on the "Drift Thread," offered to send me a variety. I expected a few cigars but when I looked in the box I counted 17 cigars.

I never had a humidor and she recommended that a tupperware type container with a damp sponge'd work.
So here they sit in my "humidor."

I do have a lid for it.
I've already picked one to try on my next grillin' day.
Honestly, I think I'm fixed for at least 3 or 4 years.
Might just havta make a proper humidor.

There's some amazing people here, I consider it an honor and a privilege to associate with them.

Snubby, when I saw the thread title, I thought you may have been running low on "points"...

Alas, your play on words is legit. Well done.

Kudos, Pawngal.

There's some nice folks here.
Ha ha, funny that. I thought to myself " Sunbby is bored and itchin for a rep-re-mand." When I saw the thread title.:D

Nice, but what does CTG. stand for again???

Looks like a nice assortment there Snubby.
She fixed you up right.
I see some Avo's, Fuente's, Upmann, Macanudo's etc....
Keep that sponge moist and enjoy.
Let us know what you think of each make.

That Pawngal is a sweetheart ain't she?

That Pawngal is A OK, eh? ! I like the looks of those little torpedoes, #6 from the left. What are they ?

Those little torpedos are Fuente Hemingway Short Story Perfectos - look like the Maduro. Awesome medium-strong smokes. Kudos to Pawngal...there's a lot of good sticks there!

I thought that they looked more like Reserva Exquisitos Maduro. I found and ordered a few from Corona Cigar Co. Hope they're tasty!!
