Got a couple nice sets of K smoothies...rosewoods on the left and GA on the right...
Those ones on the left are some real "knotty" stocks, but in a good way.

Just wanted to post the new set I recently purchase from George here on the forum. I had to have them as they made a nice lighter match to the other set of Rosewoods with similar grain. I had never seen a set with this light of material so was happy to work a deal with George to get them in my modest collection.

Been a while since I was able to indulge my rosewood lust, but a set of stocks for...something... cropped up on ebay and I couldn't resist pulling the trigger.
I thought I would bump this great thread, although it's a bit sad there are so many lost pictures.
Anyway, what do you guys think. Brazilian Rosewood? Something else?
I Frame?
Anyone recognize who might have made them?
I have to say, half of why I am compelled to buy a set like this is that I have to wonder what gun they were made to be put on, and why aren't they on it?
The other half is that I am a hopeless rosewood junkie.

Hard to tell without seeing the whole back (inner) side of one or both panels, but if they are for an I-frame, they would be very nice on a little nickel plated snub... glam without looking "pimpified."

Haha yeah, honestly I feel like some of these excellent threads need to see the light of day once in a while. I think any excuse to surface them again should be taken.
