This scares the **** out of me. And I just saw today that Egypt is allowing Iranian warships through the Suez. Bahrain, the home of the 5th fleet, is falling apart. And we thought Afghanistan was bad, I don't think we've seen anything yet.

look we need to keep this all in perspective.

our former prez jimmy assures us we have nothing to fear from the muslim brotherhood. he even knows a few personally. don't ever doubt a peanut farmer.

rest easy my friend.

I find it all rather amusing for the most part. I like seeing dictators sweat. Wouldn't it be cool to see Qadaffi end up like Mussolini? I'm not worried in the least. If crisis in the middle east worries you, then you need to turn off the news. It's not news, it's been this way for centuries.

I've spent a LOT (way too much)of time in several of the Middle East countries (business related), and from what I've seen, our form of government is above their mental capacity. They are too obsessed with their religious "teachings", and hate for nearly everyone else, an elected government would not work. And their food sucks.

It would appear that this stuff is all mounting to some sort of inevitable height - however, as stated before, it has happened this way for a long time. In mentioning that however, I am not unconcerned about it... reason? Our fine leadership. Almost every instance in modern times (leaving out Mr. Carter's reign), we have dealt handily with most scenarios that could impart pain on our own soil - and our soliders on theirs. It is clear to me now though, our own president can't even control a protest in Wisconsin, much less an Iranian warship on its way to Syria.
The next few weeks should be interesting... look out for Israel's response, and our relationship there.
God bless America.

Israel is beset on all sides by enemies. If any one of them attacks, all will support it. Once it's on, look out. The Israeli's are are a formidable, survival oriented force. We'll cut them loose, and utilizing current diplomatic tactics, hope the tiger will eat us last. Joe

Just wait until Israel is provoked...they have never quit even after 3000 years...it aint going to happen now...what did some say about 2012???? kind of makes you say hmmmmmm

We're all gonna die...pure and simple. It's just only a question of when. Don't ever underestimate some "stupid little person obsessed with his religious teachings". I hate to tell you guys, but I'll listen to the Pope before I listen to any president of the USA and that included Ronnie.
I'm just waiting for the Pope to give us the green light on the muslims :D They want to see jihad....they ain't seen nothing yet

I'm optimistic. Democracies don't typically go looking for trouble. The give-and-take of multiparty politics militates toward compromise.

I could be wrong. The entire shooting match could go into full meltdown, in which case the Israelis will most certainly pre-empt. They do not mess around, and neither are they much concerned with how domestic opinion there will react to televised images of hundreds of burning Arab and Persian tanks, aircraft, and missile facilities.

I read an interesting paragraph or two by a guy who suggested that one day the arabs would push too far. Then US, China, Europe, including Russia would move in down there and with the help of a few neutron bombs "neutralize" the situation and split up the oil reserves amongst themselves.

Study the bible, it will tell you what happens and who wins. Trying to look at all these theorys is just a interesting exercise in futility.
