OK I have just really enjoyed finding the 3rd gens what a blast
I really sound like a brat when I list the 3rd gens since July. I really like the dual actions with decockers IE 3913 etc

I am thinking about a 4043 which is D/A O I am not sure how much I will like them but I am willing to take a chance.
Any thoughts?

Thanks Hank

I love the DAO 3rd gen 9mm's and .40's. To me the trigger pull feels like an abbreviated revolver trigger. The fact that they are flatter than their DA/SA counterparts is just icing on the cake. I say go for it. If you don't like someone here will buy it!

I'm gun poor right now but I do have a 3953 (DAO version of the flat 3913) on layaway. My birthday can't come too early this year!

I own a 5946. This is not a true DAO system, as there is no repeat pull on the trigger. It works more like a Glock in principle, though the S&W system uses a hammer and firing pin rather than a stiker. The trigger pull is consistant, though firm, on my 5946. It is an accurate pistol, everyone who shoots it praises it. One of my neighbors liked it alot, but wished for a smaller version. I drove him to NC and he bought a 6946 and is very happy with it.

I have two Sig P225's and one Sig P228 that are true DAO. I like the Sig system better.
