The Pursuit of the Horse Head Streaker

1973, US Coast Guard Air Station Annette, Annette, Alaska, The southern-most continuously inhabited location in Alaska. Halloween party at the KEG (EM club). Three streakers enter the club with plans to run through and exit the back door. Almost made it except the back door was locked. They had to go out the way they came in and that was not easy. They intended there should be a fourth streaker but the fellow backed out. He was the only black man on the island and was fairly certain he would be known.

I think we set a record with several hundred of us running around nekkid in the dark and cold that night lol

We made the papers the next day. The outrage,the awfulness [emoji23] Gawd it was funny!
Somewhere between 5 and 10 % were women as I recall.

When I was a H.S. Senior (spring 1974), 4 guys from the junior class decided to streak the Lum's Restaurant at the mall. 3 chickened out! The guy that completed his run live around the corner from me and was famous for his male stature! They then went to a movie and after the movie went into Lum's for a snack. The waitress walked up to the table and set 4 frosty mugs and a pitcher on the table, and ask if he won the bet? Which he had: One case of beer! She told them, that was the best night for tips she ever had and the pitcher was on her! The handed him her phone number. Not a bad night for a 17 year old boy!
