The "REAL" classics

Bring back the real "Classics" model 29,28,27,19 ,17,18,57,25 etc etc blued with original goncalo alves target or service stocks, no MIM parts or internal lock, hammer mounted firing pin and colour case finished hammer and trigger offering all of the original barrel lenghts.Just make like they used to.

Yes that would sure be nice, but I don't think there is enough demand for it. Why buy a new revolver that that cost over a grand when there are plenty of fine specimens on the used market at much better prices. I have found a couple of the "new classics" appealing until I saw the price, why pay almost 700 bones for a new model 40 when they can be easily be found ANIB for 450-500 and often less if you are a patient shopper.
 
The old "back in the day" S&W revolvers are always in demand to me. I wish I had a 6.5" Model 29 with the goncalo alves target grips. I might let one of my Colt Pythons go for one.
 
I wish S&W would simply make the old style Target and Magna grips the SAME..EXACT way they were produced 20+ years back. Would it be so difficult???

Sad that there isn't enough market for them. I'd always be in the market for such revolvers.
