Some gunshows, I have no idea how many, or what states, allow non-licensed people to set up tables and sell guns. I have seen it in Missouri and Iowa. Cash, no paperwork. I would think a gun-friendly state like Texas would also allow it.
Haven't you ever seen other face-to-face sales at (or in the parking lot) at gunshows?

Thank you but< i was being facitious (SP?) when I asked. I think their "loophole" is private sales. I bought my Remington .03 yesterday-as a private sale. This seller didnt have a FFL, but did ask for ID-I gave him my LTC and we were good to go. Id also like to buy from him-a ruger bolt action .22 dressed up as an MG-42, but I cant afford it now-unfortunately.

In less than 30 days Florida Law was changed to age 21 for any rifle, Bump Stocks are illegal to POSSES, Stores across the County raised age to 21 or stopped selling guns and ammo. Millions of dollars has been funded to "School Safety" and towards these protests. Back Ground protocol is going to change. YouTube is shutting down certain gun videos and asking others to "report violations"Social media is on fire etc etc.
The anti gunners are on the bandwagon!

Here in Indiana people attending a gun show can buy a gun by following state law. That law applies to any person to person gun sale and dictates you see the buyers current Indiana DL and use common sense about who you sell to. FFL holders are required to have buyer fill out a 4473. This process has worked here for ages until crooks from Chicago have managed to make what amounts to straw purchases. Chicago politicians have claimed Indiana is gun supplier to any gang banger that has the dough. In nearby Illinois laws make much tougher to buy a gun. From what I've heard Illinoisians have to fill out the 4473 in their state using their own blood.

In addition to this critical spending, we also moved a little closer to turning the voices of these students who are demanding action on gun violence into policy. The spending package included several provisions I co-sponsored to address gun violence in Florida and across the country, including:

• Fix NICS Act. I cosponsored this bipartisan bill, which requires federal agencies and states to develop implementation plans to upload to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) all information prohibiting a person from purchasing a firearm, rewards states who comply with these plans through federal grant preferences, and reauthorizes and improves programs that help states share information on criminal records with NICS, among other things.

• STOP School Violence Act. I co-sponsored this bipartisan bill that would allow schools to access federal funds to invest in programs, training and technology to keep students safe.

• CDC Gun Violence Research. The spending package included language to clarify that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) can conduct research on gun violence.

A CCL SOME KIND OF PROOF?

Up until the time it was issued it notes "good behavior". Much can change AFTER you get it. As a SMALL TIME gun buyer/seller in the gunshine state (Fl) I've always wished for a national FREE/FAST database that kept track of the DO NOT SELL TO types, rather than checking the "good guys" over and over. Me, nor anyone I know wants to sell to a criminal/drug addict/mentally challenged. ALL I am required to do to sell a handgun is LOOK at the buyers drivers license to "prove" he is a resident! It tells me little else. No written ANYTHING required. NO cooling off period, no background check, no bill of sale, no record of the serial #. I DIDN'T WRITE THE LAW, & AM NOT SAYING IT'S GOOD OR BAD, it is what it is SO PLEASE HOLD THE HATE MAIL!!! "BAD GUYS" often have arrest records and such, & likely on some list already. It would seem with todays tech, it would be easier & make more sense to track/keep records on them, VS the law abiding types.

..commitments – yeah, sure, capitalizing on a tragedy for his own benefit. A look at his bank account, charge card, hotel bills, travel bills, etc., might be interesting to see what CNN, Bloomberg, et al. have comped him or given him outright, and what promises for the future said organizations have made to him for being their shill.

As to being 18 and serving in the military, well, I've said before that our youth in the military are heavily trained and work under strict supervision, and they know harsh penalties will follow if they mess up. It's nowhere near the same thing for 90% of our non-military 18 year-olds, but they demand the same privileges as those in the military without the same responsibility. I'd just as soon see voting, drinking, and driving go to age 21 or more, except for those in active military service.
