I know homeless people. Dealt with them most of my career. It's way more complicated than one choice. But that's not how society views it. Or the self effacing holier than thou critics of homelessness. Often when one choice is homelessness, the other choice is also homelessness, but delayed . . .

I have nothing but the highest respect for Police officers. They daily do a thankless job, often dealing with the worst society has to offer for a mediocre salary. There are only three groups in our nation who willingly and routinely place there lives on the line to protect the rest of us, the Military, the Police, and the Fire Dept. God bless and protect them all!
