won today on the 50th anniversary of that tragic plane crash. I was a senior in High School when it happened and remember it well.

It doesn't seem like fifty years. Congratulations, Marshall on a bittersweet victory.

I was at that game. It was a real shock to see a team play and then have the accident

billwill, I made many a trip from '75-'79 to "The Attic" in Greenville.

Great times back then. The town has grown tremendously and has a top notch med school and medical center that serves 1/3 of NC. If you have medical emergency in eastern NC you're going to a level 1 trauma center in Greenville.

Thanks for the reminder to all, Rusty. Marshall's team from 1970 is definitely still remembered here in Eastern North Carolina.
