AND---if/when removing/installing rib------------------------

Removal: Remove the screw first. (The installed rib is under tension---attempting to remove pins under tension is not the best use of your time.)

Installation: Insert front pin first, then the screw, then the aft pin.

Bengal fan, you certainly have nothing to apologize for... that presentation is worthy of a museum display and the information you provide with it IS historically valuable. It's posts like yours that add critical pieces to the great puzzle picture of History, and sometimes tiny, seemingly insignificant bits can be the most critical to filling large gaps.
