Well folks, I've found the ultimate holster for the Shield. On a recommendation from a friend, I tried the raven Concealment Phantom. Let me tell you it's phenomenal! The standard belt loops are hard plastic and it took forever to get the Ares Ranger Belt threaded through them. I ordered the optional QMS (Quick Mount Straps) and fixed that problem. The snaps are still a little stiff, but I think they'll loosen up eventually. The pistol snaps right in the holster and out with a snap as well. There is no possibility of it coming out accidentally either. If you're looking for the ultimate OWB holster for a plastic pistol, this is it. I'll not post the link here; just google "Raven Concealment" and look at the Phantom. Cheers.. Ron

A picture is worth a thousand words.

There is this crazy thing called the internet, On the internet you can google images and get prob 2 million hits (WITH PICTURES) on raven concealment Phantom. And prob 1 million hits on Raven Concealment Phantom (WITH PICTURES) with the M&P shield

Most, if not all, cell phones have this crazy feature option, a camera. Several free Internet photo host such as Photobucket, ImageShack, etc. are available, too. BTW, using copy n paste of websites is rather simple.

... w/o pics it never happened :D

It comes down to 'Who wants to do the work?'

Do you want to Google the image and possible get the wrong one, or does the OP want to actually supply an image?

I think it's just better ( I almost want to say respectful, but that may come across as harsh so I won't) if the person starting the thread about a product just includes a picture and some important details.

It really makes the thread a better and much more interesting and informative thread!

What would people say if I started a thread that said, " WOW!! Amazing news story!!"

Then when you open the thread it says, "Google today's news for the details." :(

.

Guys....there is a pic in the OP.

That's how good the holster is....hello it's the Ultimate concealed holster.

I am glad for a certain amount of diversity when it comes to guns, holsters, equipment, etc.

On the other hand, if the picture I found using Google (there is not a pic in the original post as claimed in Post #7), that thing has too many rivets and screws and too much hardware for me.

Google searches are watched by the NSA and obama. Pics aren't. Post pictures with your endorsement. Save me from going to jail.

I never understood this "Without pics it never happened" Why does the OP have to post pics?? He put his thoughts out there for everyone to read, He stated his opinion that was it. So is the OP lying? because he never posted pic? Maybe he does not know how to. Or maybe he dosent care enought to post pics. Either way posting pics is irrevelant if he said it happened i believe him

I'm right there with you all on the lack of pics or links. Here's a link with pics. I personally think Crossbreed and Crossbreed-style IWB's are a better choice. I can't stand the feel of hard contoured kydex pressed to my side. The leather of a hybrid is way more comfortable, while allowing the gun to click in, using the tension your body and belt provide.

LOL... Your "Google Foo" is weak grasshoppers.. It looks pretty much like any other (not so) cheap plastic holster with a (not so) cheap plastic pistol sticking out.. hahahaha.. Honestly.. I'll take some pics this evening, I'm sure you'll be all wowed.. ;) Cheers.. Ron

I got my Raven holster a couple of weeks ago and find the retention to be a lot tighter than any of the other Raven holsters I've had for my Glocks over the years.

I'll dremel the retention nubs in the trigger cover to loosen it up a bit.

Also have an INCOG ordered as well. Using my CompTac Minotaur for EDC now.

To host pics & have the ability to post pics on websites just Google ImageShack... it's free

It just looks like molded and riveted kydex with some snap loops. I priced one for the shield and it was $80 on their site. Is kydex that expensive?
