AS a kid (1960's) we lived on the North end of Columbus, Wright-Patterson AFB was something like 60 or 70 miles away. We got sonic booms almost every day. Some days, the contrails from Dog fights filled the sky!

Fighter training doesn't raise the heartrate like bomber runs over the aircraft factory on the east side of town!
