I just wanted to show off my 586 collection.

586 (no dash) used for IDPA competition. Hogue monogrip, fiber front sight, the trigger is like butter. This gun goes through more ammo than all my other guns combined. Shown with Safariland compIII speedloaders, Comp-tac holster and carriers.

586 (no dash) 6" barrel with Leupold 4x scope. This thing shoots like a hand-held rifle.

586 (no dash) 8 5/8" barrel with Nill grips. The most accurate open-sight handgun I have ever seen.

586-4 customized for CCW. It was pristine when I bought it. Then I mixed bourbon with a hacksaw and made it a 2.5" barrel. Installed fiber front sight, Ahrends boot grip, and bobbed the hammer. I realize what I did to the value of it, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
