They do still exist!

I am glad one of us has seen some.

Seen them once in awhile. My walmart has them this week. I dont think they sell fast. Lehigh valley, since I see you are in PA.

I've seen them quite a few times. Frustrating for me, since hyper-velocity isn't recommended for the only .22 I own. Did get some mini-mags yesterday.

Just saw a thing on you-tube on 4 cci 22's in a gel pack.

#0064...32gr.....1640fps...4-6" pen, 4 pcs "shotgun".... ok for vermin.
#0047...40gr Hp..1435fps...13" pen... .309" dia starting mushroom.
#0031...36gr Hp...1260fps...11" pen...... .364 dia nice mushroom.
#0030...40gr PRN...1235fps.....pass through 16" gel block, no expansion !!

Glad to see they are showing up...........................
Nice way to start of the new year !!

DuBois to be exact. If you know where that is.

I haven't seen those in a long time. However, I scored (2) 1000 round boxes of Winchester M-22's last night at my local Walmart.:)

I scored at Dick's this morning and got 11 boxes of Winchester 100 packs (the good stuff - not the cheaper promo bulk stuff). I am embarrassed to say that I paid $10 bucks per 100, but here in NY we can no longer "import" ammo so we are being abused. Truthfully I was glad to get it!

To the OP, every Walmart I go to is a ghost town in sporting goods. They don't keep an employee in the area.

Sometimes I wonder if Walmart, 22 LR, 9MM, or any pistol ammo is one of those urban legend things. Or if some folks are the fellow pointed out in the old rhyme that ends, pants on fire. :)

Glad you found some, I did too, once, I happened by as they were putting out 10 boxes. It was last spring in St. Louis.

Still shooting from the 550-round boxes of Remingtons my mom got me for Christmas two or three years ago. Keeping my grandkids in .223 Rem/5.56x45mm may put me in the poorhouse, though! (My granddaughter thinks my Mini-14 is hers!)

Thats the going price at Dick's around here. How did you get 11? Their rule is 3 boxes or 1 bulk and to Dick's 100pks are bulk.

$6.47 a box
Gotta give Walmart credit -- when they get the ammo in, they sell it at or near pre-panic prices.

What very few gun stores and online retailers list as having CCI Stinger .22 LR HP in stock are currently selling between $20 and $30 per box of 50.

I'm sitting on four boxes of the stuff and don't even have a .22 at the moment -- was thinking I'd sell it and buy me a set of grips. :D

Glad to see that you were able to find and buy a good quantity of ammo. As to price, don't sweat it. There are those who would rather sit around and polish their rifles and handguns and use them for paper weights and decorating fireplace mantles than to buy ammo. Personally I say, "More power to you!" Take that ammo and grab a rifle or handgun and head out to the range or the woods and fields! And when it comes to ammo, buy all you can when you can. Rifles and handguns were never made to be merely decorator pieces and paper weights.

Every time I go to wally world it seems that there is always the same guy asking about 9mm luger??. Girl working there says they don't have any. All I usually see is sometimes a few value packs of 45 acp or single or value packs of 40S&W. Frank

They have raised their prices a little but it's around $0.50 to $1 a box which isn't bad IMHO.

My buddy that has a gun shop has Ely target for $8 per 50. Is it any good?

I got a couple boxes a couple weeks ago to try for Bullseye shooting, and I will say that it's somewhat better than the Remington Goldens I'd been stuck with until now. $8/50 is a better price than I found them at. ($9.99/50) Still too much for my taste.

Wednesday my local Dunham's had CCI Mini-Mag 22LR at $7.99/100, and I was able to get 4-boxes. I'm hoping to use these for Bullseye, and keep using the Goldens for pin-shooting, where the shorter range let's me get away with the greater variation I see in their repeatability.

Stopped by Walmart today to get a battery for my truck and they still had a bunch of the Stingers left. No one is buying it.

In my area we have handgun ammo. My local WalMart has a couple 50 Cal ammo cans of 9mm Ball.
We have plenty of 38 Special, 357 Mag, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45acp, 223, etc.

Like others have reported, 22LR is still scarce. They manage to keep 50 and 100 round boxs on the shelf longer. Bulk Box does not make it long at all.

I have plenty of 22 ammo, but I still have a hard time shooting a large quantity of it, when I cannot replace it.

My brother and used to enjoy burning a brick through our 22 handguns at a setting. We have not done this in over a year.

What kind of deal did they have on the 9mm cans? Brand? I've never seen a can deal there on 9mm. They have them all the time now on 5.56. I'm seeing a lot of 9mm at WW compared to 2 months ago when I was buying whatever I could get. Passed up the Winchester white box 50's today at $14.67, only because I just bought 100 rd boxes there for $26.77.

I picked up two 50 packs a few weeks ago. I didn't have a huge need for them, but I figure A) they had them... and B) Ill see how my new XT22 likes shooting them. With a new gun, you never know till you try. One good thing that's come out of this shortage, is that a lot of different brands and loadings have come out of the wood work. normally all the stores stock the normal big sellers, but ive been able to pick up a few boxes of less common loads to try in the new rifle and see what it likes. Granted.... I wont be able to find more if I find a good load for it..
