thinking of selling 908 and 3914, price?

what is the going price on these fine weapons? the 908 is very clean almost nib... the 3914 has some wearing of the bluing that is not really caught on the photo..

An excellent condition 908 went for some decent money, for what it is, on the large gun sight. That would be one of the resources I would evaluate. Original box adds value as well.

Need to add, the 908s I had in the past and regrettably traded off, where some of the best shooters I ever owned in that size.

for the 3914, i have a box that was for another 908 that i sold (blue plastic).. manual also.. i think the manual for the 3914 and 908 are basically the same..

For what it's worth I recently paid $390 cash OTD for a excellent condition 908 with 1 mag and no box at a gun show.
I felt like it was a good enough deal to take given the condition and it was the only single stack 9mm 3rd Gen in the building.
In my area the 3rd Gen single stack 9's just don't come up for sale very often at all.

Model 908 pistols are a little more common in my area. A really, really nice one with original box and 2 or 3 magazines will go for $399+Tax on a good day. Low I've seen in my area was $299+Tax. Average... unsurprisingly... is about $349+Tax. I totally lucked out under some rather unusual bargaining circumstances and scored a very nice one on the low end of that scale. It came in its original box but the box was essentially ruined.

A worn looking Model 3914 will probably go for a little more money than a worn looking Model 908. But I really don't have a lot of data to fall back on for Model 3914 pistols.

I picked up a 908 today for $240. It is good+, and was missing the mag. I have seen them unsold on GB for $400, looks like most of the completed sales are in the $325 range, for very good condition.

I'm happy with my purchase.

Don't do it.

Or at least keep one of them. I recently contemplated selling my 3914 "prototype".

Then I went and shot the "popular" 9mm single stacks. XDs 9, Kahr, shield and new Glock.

Im keeping my 3914. It is superior to everything else out there. Better trigger. Utterly reliable. Hammer fired. Goes back into battery on its own EVERYTIME. Accurate with a great trigger in both DA and SA. And it looks good doing all that.

Think twice before you sell both of those fine guns. Or try whats out there for yourself before you do. Good luck! Regards 18DAI
