Do what you must, maybe you should, you'll have no trouble selling the Shield.

Save the money for another Glock, as people begin to start dumping them onto the market in the future.:D:D:D

Guns can be like chicks...at any given time you might think about given her up and when you do....a few weeks down the road you wish you had her back....but to late shes gone and your left there sitting down trying to forget her with some rum

Id keep her around for a little longer to make sure you really dont want her, because like chicks...guns are the same there will be some other guy or girl ready to take them in as their own ;)

You can probably get more than you paid for it on Gunbroker.com. My LGS has been selling his there instead of in the store. I hear they are bringing $5-600. Later when the dust settles you can pick up another if you regret selling this one.

There may be some takers on the Beretta Forum?

jglock:

Glocks are reliable but you can't get any better than 100% and my Shield at the 400 round count has accepted every brand of ammo including Federal Champion from Walmart which my Beretta Nano FTEd at a rate of 2%.

I have never owned a Glock but I have shot and pocket carried a 26 and the weapon is nice to shoot (no more accurate or reliable than my Shield) but pocket conceal is out at 1/4 inch thicker and the Glock 26 is a pinkie dangler which is not a deal killer but after shooting my Shield with all fingers with the flush magazine I don't want to go back to the dangler days.

You may take a hit selling the holsters and magazines, but from what I have read you should be able to sell the Shield for what you paid if not your loss will be less than 2 boxes of shells.

For kicks, go to the lounge section of the Beretta forum and ask if there is any interest in trading a Shield for a Nano.

I think you will come away with a newer appeciation for the Shield after that excercise.

LOFL, I lve NEVER wanted a chick back once she was gone, never. For whatever reason she was gone, it was good riddence....looking forward now thank you....

Words of wisdom, never sell a gun for that reason, practice gun polygamy!

That's really a choice only you can make, but I'm interested in the extra mags if you decide to sell :D

I really love this gun but there's other guns I love more I.e. my walther ppqs. I might keep the shield cus in the subcompact market there's nothing better. Not the g26. Lc9. Pm9. Nano. Taurus slim.sig P938. Xd. Etc.. shield is easily the better choice

PS only problem I have is the white front dot is not visible like it was.

Yeah... The front dot not being as visible as it was, is called dirt. [Just messin' with ya!!]
Selling it because the front sight is dirty is like selling a car because the ash tray is full, or because the tires need replacing. :D

Seriously though...
What about the shield made you want to buy it in the 1st place? Hopefully you got to shoot it 1st and it wasn't a Hype/Impulse purchase.

What about the shield don't you like enough to keep it?
Hopefully it's not because the next new shiny toy just came out. ;)

I rented it before buying and saw exactly what I was getting (and liked it). I wore the pants that I would carry it in and saw that I would be able to easily pocket carry it (in a pocket holster, of course).

I'm not Brand Loyal by any means... I have Glocks, XD/XDMs and others. As a Subcompact, Pocketable Single-Stack 9/40, I don't think it can be beat (especially at its price point).

Luckily for me, my 'Gun Money' pocket is Nomex and I don't have to worry about money burning a hole in it. ;)

Keep it around. It might not cook, or clean for ya, but it may give you a little bit of pleasure, and you know it won't talk back.

Going to keep it. Too much invested. 1300 rds through. Keeping it on accuracy n reliability alone. Y get rid of a special gun.

It's better then a glock it's got a lifetime warrenty.Does Glock?No it dosen't.
