I thought we could have a little fun with some factoids on what special things happened on today's date years ago.

I'll start:

On February 15, 1969 Sly & The Family Stone had the number one hit, "Everyday People."

February 15, 1967, 13 US helicopters were shot down in Vietnam...my uncle was one of those lost.

Welllll.....our case is a LITTLE different, since the country aided and abetted terrorists, and our tactics have not been to burn the country to the ground like the Commies did......but we have not paid attention to the reality on the ground that Afghanistan is a post WWII construct and never really has had a centralized government, or decentralized government for that matter. It is time to come home.
