This Forum Scares me!!

You know what scares me? It's when I come to this forum and find that we have members that participate regularly that take up for, defend or pay lip service to those that would destroy the Second Amendment...or even this country. What's even more ironic, some even claim to have military service. That just doesn't wash.

We all know who they are. I just find it a bit strange that one that would come to a firearms forum could be so out of touch with reality?

It's a puzzlement!

The policy on this board is to keep cool and low key. If I could say what I want, and tried to control the masses I would. But since I don't pay the bills and enjoy my visits here, I try and behave.

Speaking about the 2nd Amendment. Hate to pick on the poor members from NJ, as they really are carrying a burden with those lib Senators, but does anybody know what is happening with the soon to be EX Governor's new law limiting to 1 sale or transfer of a firearm per month? If the SC really does apply the 2nd Amend to the States through the 14th Amend, the next fight will be the allowable restrictions and State controls. This NJ law is 12 steps ahead of any "least restrictive " law to a constitutional amendment freedom. Is everybody just waiting to see what the new Repub Governor will do?

2nd amendment forum used to be much more vocal. Something happened?? My guess is the restrictions on political activity, which in these times does involve 2nd amendment issues. I think it is hard to separate the two. My feeling is mixed about it myself. I do think that we will set back and some non-discrept law will be passed that has far reaching consequences. The eagerly reported, gun violence cases, especially by the left leaning press will make gun laws seem sane. The fact that most are carried out by non eligible to own a gun , seems to be forgotten or ignored by the press. Obama has his hands full right now, but wait it's coming. He has Holder for a reason. We have already seen some of his extreme left wing decisions. Remember this, we have a poor record of turning out the vote. If you don't vote some of these people out you have nobody to blame but ourselves.

I'm here, and let me say that one of the biggest threats to the 2A is not our gov (altho it is a big one) but from the United Nations. With it's one world gov. attitude. Open your eyes to the bigger picture and you can see it all around you. We need to seperate ourselves from this group and then clean up the mess at home.

Just because we are not on this forum all the time doesn't mean we aren't doing anything to defend our 2A rights.

+1. I'm always writing to my elected officials on not only 2nd A rights and cc issues, but also about a lot of other issues. I'm sure by now I'm on their s***list!

Just got another form letter back from Lugar I know I'm on the XXXX list. But until they want to abandon the Constitution publicly they can't do anything about it.
