The first all black group has summited Mt Everest. Two of them are from Colorado and the leader is a teacher and coach at my sons old high school

High end mountaineering fascinates me, I know Everest can be a bit of a mess but I'd love to climb something in that part of the world in the next decade or so.
Also, somewhat related in that it involves an Everest climb, check out "14 Peaks" (on amazon prime I believe) about a former Gurkha and brit SBS guy summiting all of the world's 8000M peaks in under seven months. One of the coolest docs on the subject I've seen in some time.

I saw an article last week about a Sherpa breaking his own record for Everest summits. I think he’s at 26 now!
