I got this link in an email today - You'll probably get it too.
Without giving the video away - Note the crowd's spontaneous reaction to this Marine.
I couldn't be more proud of this man - And I don't know him from Adam.

At church service on Sunday July 3rd instead of the normal hymn we sang the Star Spangled Banner. All four verses. That last verse gets to you.

Thank you from me to every single one of you who have worn the uniform of our country. So that I, my children and grandchildren may enjoy the freedoms we do.

Thanks for the post, I get goose bumps and watery eyes everytime I hear the Star Spangled Banner! I tend to think there's a lot of us out there that feel that way.

Wow!! That Marine has a voice that would put Caruso to shame, and he has no hesitation about using it to its utmost. Good stuff!!

wow. Now see, when that song is sung correctly, it's one moving song. I just wish that the Super Bowl (and other sporting events, etc) would quit getting these "pop" stars who seem to refuse to sing it as it should be sung.

Very inspiring.

Remember when Reagan spoke at the D-Day anniversary. He said that the soldiers about to land relied on God to give His Mercy to them, on this beachhead or the next"

The men of Normandy had faith that what they were doing was right, faith that they fought for all humanity, faith that a just God would grant them mercy on this beachhead, or on the next. It was the deep knowledge -- and pray God we have not lost it -- that there is a profound moral difference between the use of force for liberation and the use of force for conquest. You were here to liberate, not to conquer, and so you and those others did not doubt your cause. And you were right not to doubt.
