Waste Management? Fuggedaboutit!!!!

Well, I called City hall to report my missing trash can. Conversation went like this
"I called yesterday to complain about trash pick up and they took my trash can"
"Yes-we know. Do you have any more complaints???" ................

................. "Well, my wife has been getting on my nerves lately...."

Anyway...they say they will have a new one in 3-7 days Guess I'll just go back to throwing my garbage in the neighbor's can.

You complained about your service so now your garbage can ends up missing... hahaha. I think your next course of action to go to war with the City and Waste Management is an excellent idea, Cajun. And don't forget to curse at the collection guys if they happen to cruise by your address. I'm confident you'll get what's coming to you.

There is another approach... slip $10 to the collection guys now and then... especially around X-mas or when you got something out of the ordinary you want them to handle. Waste Management never missed a pickup at my address.

True story:

I was stuck behind the WM truck one day while they were doing their pickup. I saw the fellows bail out and run to this one green can. They opened the lid and there was a WAD of cash they started scooping up. Not just a bill or two, fist fulls!

Always wondered what that was about, but I have no doubt who gets the BEST service in the neighborhood!

Viscera? Sounds like the name of a cologne. What a pleasant way to say fish heads, tails, and guts. Hey, I thought real cajuns ate all that stuff. Look around your neighbors, WM gave my can to the folks next door, and our driveways are over a 100' apart.

Oh good, something to look forward to. My town just switched from Allied that had all new automated trucks where no one even had to get out and grab the cans to Waste Management with guys having to ride the back of the trucks. Hard to see how trucks with 2 or 3 guys can do the job cheaper than trucks with just a driver.

Find a dumpster at an apartment building or church and wait until dark.

It's hard to throw away old plastic gas cans too, but at least they can be bagged.

Or so I've heard . . . .
