Do you have a link or anything showing where Cabelas is selling the M&P C.O.R.E. for $549? Is that for all calibers?

I picked my M&P9 CORE up for $659 and thought that was a good price, I lucked out and was at the shop when it came in.

show me anywhere in that linked ad where it states it is a S&W CORE for sale?
of the dozen or so different variations of the M&P the one he linked to was NOT identified as a CORE but rather it was a M&P PRO
granted his title mentions a CORE being listed for sale but that's not whats in the link he provided nor does the site he linked to show there is a M&P CORE is for sale on that site
