My brother has fruit trees.....they take one bite of the fruit ,throw it on the ground & grab another! My brother has racked up 100 so far....he hates them!!

I have them around here but they generally behave themselves. I cut down all the trees near my house so they couldn't get on my roof. They don't ever get too close to the house because of the dog. Somehow they know the dog was bred to kill fury critters. I have an RWS scoped air rifle that is tuned up for 2 MOA. There never has been a squirrel problem around my house. They know the rules.

Our two little dogs chase the squirrel, but the squirrel always jumps just out of reach and mocks them. Heather here always get's the closest.

About once every six months my dog catches a squirrel by slowly sneaking up to it in our yard, she gives it one bite and you hear one "squeak!" Then my dog looks at it and wonders why the squirrel doesn't want to play anymore.

I leave the dead squirrel on top of a fencepost, and around dusk a Barred owl shows up for supper.

Gunter didn't seem to mind but it's illegal to have a pet squirrel in Virginia. I finally had to bring the baby squirrel to an animal rehab. It was addicted to big white dogs!
