Here's a list of items I purchased for myself this christmas. My main question is about the Slide Kit From Performance Center, and the Apex Tactical Trigger Set.

Items Purchased:
-Galco Miami Shoulder System

-Smith & Wesson Performance Center Slide Kit 9mm, 4.25" Barrel, Black Amornite Adjustable (BH)

-APEX Tactical S&W M&P Trigger Forward Set Sear

I purchased this fire-arm back in 2013/2014 when I was enlisted and I've had it in storage since. With the Slide Kit, and Trigger set, is it recommended to have my firearm brought to a gun shop to have the weapon fitted with it's new components? Or is it a plug in play without additional machining?

M&P's are pretty easy to work on. Check out YouTube and you'll find tones of videos on tearing down the slide and installing new trigger components. All the parts are drop-in.

I've found the M&Ps to be easy to work on, much easier than say, an Springfield XD.
The hardest part is getting the locking block pin back through the trigger return spring, but Apex provides a yellow (plastic) slave pin to help that.

Look on YouTube for the disassembly/assembly videos by Apex.
Sounds like some good Christmas presents !

The slide kit is for core no, what are you doing for optic?
