We mourn the loss of all our men and women in uniform. This morning received news of the death of the son of a close friend. He was a rescue swimmer and aircrew of the Navy helicopter that recently crashed off the coast of California. I have known the family for close to 40 years and watch this young man grow up. A heartbreaking story of a true hero and good man. Please remember them in your thoughts and prayers.

So sad. Hard for his family and friends to deal with a loss like that. RIP sailor, we will keep you in our thoughts.

Praying for the loved ones of this terrible loss.

It is sad, but all military aviation accidents take young folks. Been to to many memorial services for friends.

May they RIP.

Many do not realize how dangerous military service can be even when not engaged in combat operations. May they Rest in peace.

Whenever flight op's are going ongoing aboard a carrier , those brave souls are always hovering overhead . If a plane has a cold cat or a deck crewman goes overboard , they are the protecting angels .
