Thread Specifications for Prewar N-frame Ejector Rods

I have a prewar Heavy Duty whose ejector rod threads are kind of flattened, and I'd like to restore them. Can anyone tell me what die to use? I guess the matching thread in the ejector star might be a little messed up too, so I should probably tackle that at the same time.

Hi...Taps and dies can only remove metal. They can't replace it. So, you might determine if the star has matching flat threads, and if it does, then maybe both were originally made that way. In which case, merely clean them up, and screw them back together as required to maintain tightness of fit. A bit of blue Locktite will insure that they don't come apart easily. BT
