Thumb safety question

I like thumb safetys on my pistols. I don't kick dogs or abuse children, I just like thumb safetys.

My question is, the safety levers on my two M&Ps stick out like paddles on a rowboat. Are there any aftermarket levers that are a little less obtrusive?

I dont know of any replacements. They are designed like that for a reason though. Like a 1911 eh?

Wow. Learn something new every day. I never paid attention to that before and would have said metal. I'm the class dunce. Moving to the corner now and will wear cap for 15 minutes.

Although I don't have any guns with a safety of any kind, if I did I'd want it to be large enough to operate with little fumbling. I probably wouldn't use it anyhow.

I also like my thumb safety. I just make a conscious effort to include them in my training so I'm not standing like an idiot if I need to use them

I like thumb safteys also,have them on shield,MP 9c,3914,3913 and sig P238.Old school I guess
