Hey folks,
Just curious if anyone has a j frame, 5-shot 38/357 Ti cylinder they could caliper for OAL. I'd like to throw one in my Chief's Special just to take a couple oz off, but not sure if it will fit in the older cylinder window.
I know I could just buy a 360PD (and I may), but I like to tinker and think this pinned, stainless J frame would look awesome with a modern cylinder.
Not worried about accidental mag usage, because, well . . . I just won't. In fact, I may load up some mag cases to spl pressure to play with longer bullets and avoid leaded cylinders, etc. If I ever sell I'll replace the original SS cylinder.
I just did some light fitting of a Ti cylinder in my stainless 629 and love how it made the gun feel handier, but is still much more enjoyable with magnums than my 329PD. I'd like that same look/feel in a stainless J frame.
Anyway, thanks for the help and advice!
