Time for a new belt - Suggestions? UPDATE

I'm about to drop the $$ for an Ares belt from Men Gene Leather and a Kore ratchet buckle belt. I'm constantly between belt notches and tired of the fight.
I wear a wilderness instructor belt unless I have to wear a dress belt. My dress belts are Aker B21's in black and brown. They're very nice quality and polymer reinforced. They've held up great to daily wear toting a full sized service pistol, spare mag and cuffs. As said above though, I'm constantly between notches and want to give something else a try.

Sceva, I have four (4) custom made belts. Two, gun belts, from Lobo Leather, very pleased with these. Two from BullHyde Belts, one is your standard Ranger style and the other is a custom Gator dress belt; it was big $$ but worth it. So I can highly recommend either company.

I also have a Lobo B8 belt and "Enhanced Avenger" holster. Sadly, Ray retired, sold the company and is rumored to not be the hidden gem it once was.

Went with another El Paso Saddlery
Well; I went with another El Paso Saddlery.
While researching I found out that EPS is a lifetime guarantee and if I sent the old belt in they would make a new one at no charge and if I wanted to keep the old one for some reason they would give me a discount on a new one.
I decided that since the one I have is still very usable ( wanted to get a replacement before I retire later this year and before I actually needed it ) that I would not ask for a free replacement and instead I was offered a deal I couldn't refuse on a new one, plus they're making it a leetle longer to compensate for current and later possible weight gain.
I was very close to getting the Beltman but I do really like my current El Paso Saddlery belt, color, etc and the price made it an easy choice.

Which belt do you have on order? Just curious.
I have one of EPS's Garrison Belts with their Extra Fancy Floral Carving. I am totally satisfied with the quality and workmanship. I imagine you will be satisfied, too.

I know the OP has made his decision but for others reviewing the thread you might consider Simply Rugged. I have been wearing their belt daily for five years and really like it, with or without gun in tow.
Another post mentioned a concern with the new Lobo Gun Leather. I have two holsters from Mark and am more than pleased. Seems to me that their quality is on par with Ray's.

I have holsters from Ray (old Lobo) and Mark (new Lobo)
and they seem to be equal in quality, i.e. both very good.
For full sized or heavy guns, A better Belt with nylon reinforcing.
Lighter guns, RG leather. Ray is the greatest.

Gee Wheeez! Someone finally mentioned Kore belts. I was afraid to do so with all of these fine sculptured belts. I like my Kore for its ability to just hold my IWB without drawing undue attention to either it or the belt. They are expensive as you have probably noted. I have pretty well moved into Clik-trak belts for all of my wear.
