Trying to reorganize the safe. I need to catalog a few newer aquisitions...

Not to get off topic, but how do you like the LaserMax on your revolver? I have a couple of friends who work there and they have offered me some for good prices. I'm just not sure about putting that plate over the side plate.

Oh My!!!!
and I thought my gun safe was crowded, I bet mine would hold 10 more pistols. I like them silicone sacks too you can really stack long guns in the safe using them.

If you guys were a little neater you could probably put more in there.

that was rush job(headed out of town last min), there are 40 or so more behind the top shelf

Landpimp - no wonder that the NW get together is in Gig Harbor. You would need a bigger vehicle to get them out of town.

That 642 is the lil' woman's daily carry piece. The Lasermax works perfectly. Just save the screws from the sideplate. Put 'em in a safe...
I know I would stop whatever I was doing if I noticed that flashing laser dot on my chest!

Yeah, I like the idea of the flashing laser. They are working on one that will fit the M&P pistols. I don't have any revolvers they would be useful on right now. They also have one for Berreta M9 frames. I do have a 40 that I might look into getting one for, but I have laser grips on it right now so I don't really need it.

My old safe was disaster. Handguns that are in tightly fitting boxes (like S&W's old cardboard boxes) can be neatly stacked. The rest were becoming a problem.
I found this 70 year old safe with drawers that works great for handguns.

My gun safe started life as a safe place to store the day's reciepts at a student union. When the contractors started to demo the place, the safe was for sale. After about six months, it became "free to a good home". About $65.00 had it delivered to my garage.

My safe started life as a classified map safe. It's about 4-5 feet deep and had sliders that pinched the maps and hung them from the top. I took out one of the 2 drawers and the sliders. Then I built a box for the inside from plywood and finished it with black felt. Then I started filling it full of guns. It took me, four other Marines and a fork lift to get it into the back of an 18 pac van. Then, me and the other 4 managed to get it out of the van at my house and stored in the garage until I could get it into the house.
