My latest is a 586-4, waiting for it to be shipped.

Also picking up a model 29-5 classic hunter.

I have 3 of them. 2 627s pre lock pc guns and a 686 carry comp pc gun, would have more but dang are they expensive when you find them.

The first one I would get is the 686 Mountain Gun. I had one in my hands when they were first introduced, but didn’t buy it. I’ve been kicking myself for over 25 years. It was a S&W promo event, the gun was $450. Unfortunately I was only taking home $499 every two weeks, and in a rare burst of fiscal responsibility I didn’t buy it. The last one I saw for sale was $1,800.

After I got the 686 I would grab a 5” 625-5, the Ashland 617, a 3” 66, and a bunch of 3” 13’s and 65’s. Oh, and a Model 16.

Most of the S&W revolvers I have are from the 80’s and 90’s. I couldn’t buy them when they were new because I was either too young or too broke, so I buy them now.
