Time to go to work with Milwaukee tools

Should have found a tossed out Ryobi! Would keep your stash safe from anyone!!!!!!

LOL!! Well my employer buys a bunch of cordless impact wrenches for the assembly line and they do not use the cases they come in so they throw them away. I got the foam for free as well so now I have a nice handgun case that is durable and disguised.

I used that companies tools most of my work life (Construction, tools supplied by the company.) I also have my own tools at the house.

From what I have seen the quality of those tools have gone downhill fast and it appears many/most are made overseas. So glad most of my well cared for tools were purchased years ago.

I think it's time to take a trip to Home Depot.:)

It's a shame what has happened to both Milwaukee and Porter Cable. Like you I'm glad I've got some of the good old ones.

One of my first work cordless drills was a Milwaukee and it smoked on me quite young. That was better than ten years ago and went with Dewalt afterwards. I think their quality has gone down now though with recent tools I've bought.
Now that I'm not working my tools are for home use and should last me forever. I do miss that annual tool allowance from work though. It gave me a free shopping spree at Home Depot once a year.

Never had an issue with my Milwaukee tools, they go bang every time!:D

I wore out a Milwaukee impact drill too at work but admit it had a lot of hard use. It could have come back to life had we replaced the chuck but a Dewalt got it's replacement instead. I admit too it wasn't the greatest but did the job at least until I retired.
We worked our tools hard there and wore out plenty of brands.
For a home owner and the limited use a Craftsman or similar brand is all that is needed most times. I smoked a Craftsman jigsaw once though on the last day of warranty once, maybe I'm just hard on tools?
