Discount Tire is fairly new to Boise Idaho and I am now a happy customer of Discount Tire. I can't help you those tires but they do have the best price on tires in my area.

Over 71K on a set of Michelins on my truck.
Have a quote from Discount Tire that seems reasonable and is in line or a little lower than others.

I was a recent first time Discount Tire customer... I walked in, said "I need 6 of these"... they said "ok, we will order them from the factory.. should be here in 8 days"... they were there in 5 days.. and were literally made the week before.. and they are "performance race street tires" (200TW 245/40 ZR 17).
I will be taking advantage of the free tire rotation once the warm weather gets here... oh please, I hope that the warm & dry gets here soon...

I have used Discount Tire (not exclusively) for years. I have learned to remove my own center caps as the shop gorillas don't usually put much effort into realigning them, resulting in broken tabs (Audi). This was during switching from Summer to Winter tires, a no charge service. No other issues.
I have been getting my tires from Discount Tire for the last 20 years. I have been very pleased with their products and service.
I get Michelin Defender style tires for pick-ups and SUVs. They get great wear life and seem to roll quieter than the original equipment tires I replaced.
I always get the "certificate" for free rotation/balance and road hazard replacement.

New tires on my Nissan Titan 4X4 truck last year. 265-70-18 size, not inexpensive. Local Discount Tire store called me when there was a promotion sale on Michelin ($70 off per tire, so $280 off the set of 4), when I went in the employee noticed my Purple Heart license plates and applied a 10% veteran discount and entered that on their computer so it is now automatic for us.
Followed my usual practice and took the truck with new tires in to my favorite alignment shop, make sure that everything is optimal. Best tires in the world won't provide long life and good performance unless the vehicle is correctly maintained.
Michelin Defender XLS replaced the factory Toyo tires. Going in to Discount Tire tomorrow for free rotation, which includes tread wear analysis (optical scanner) and re-balancing. Usually in and out in about 30 minutes.
Very satisfied with quality and service.

I had a set of Toyo AT3's installed on my 4Runner at Discount Tire a year ago and they were great. Good price, in and out in under an hour.
Gave me a greatly reduced price on the warranty certificates for replacements if needed.
I have nothing but good things to say about the experience.
ETA: The tires were minty fresh. Literally a few weeks from the date of manufacture...and from the USA plant in GA.

I have used Discount Tire exclusively.
They have always provided good service and they match prices.
I went to Costco for a price and Discount Tire went a few dollars cheaper.

I usually have good luck with DT stores, but there is always one bad apple.
Bought tires at this one store; first time they put on 3 Bridgestones and 1 Yokohama. I'm being picky but I'd like all 4 to be alike.
The other time my wife got tires and when she said it felt "funny" on the way home I found 1 tire had over 70 psi and another had 90. Reset the pressures and all was fine.
Needless to say I don't use that store anymore, the others around here are great.

They fixed 2 tires with slow leaks for free, will buy tires from them when the Silverado 4x4 needs them. Great company, Larry
From all these great reviews, I wish that Discount Tire was in the northern NJ area. The bloom is off the rose for me with Costco as they are usually swamped with work so the wit is long, and the siren song of free rotations has never been worth it to me because they are that busy. Must mean they're good, eh?

That's the only place I buy tires for my vehicles. I've been a customer for over 15 years. The store I deal with has good service, they do a good job and have no issue following special requests such as no air wrenches, and will set your pressures where you want them. They use a torque wrench to check the lug nuts after installing the tires. They are very strict about tire repair, if the nail is less than an inch from the tread edge, they won't repair it (has to be within the cord). They don't plug tires, they do internal patches. If you have nice wheels, they use stick-on weights on the inside rim and not weights that clip to the wheel edge. Prices are competitive, they have many brands to choose from and if the ones you want aren't in stock they can usually get them in a day or two. You can get the full package (road hazard coverage, which pro-rates the tire based on miles or by the mileage warranty) or opt out of it. Free rotation/rebalance every 5K miles.

I've been tire shopping at Discount Tire for many years. We have a local family that sells tires and I like to support local when I can but Disco Tires usually has a better price and selection when I'm looking for something a little oddball, like snow tires made in Finland (who better to know how to deal with snow and ice?)

Discount tire is a great place to shop. They even price match the lowest price you will find on the computer. Determine what tire you would like. Check reviews on Michelin Defenders, my preferred tire, which wear like iron. Once you get your lowest price, send it to Discount and they will match it. As an added benefit, the also offer free balancing, rotation, and flat repair.

I've been a customer for 25 years. The road hazard warranty is money well spent. I've had 3 of a set of 4 replaced in the 4 years they've been on the car. I could probably get by with buying a replacement for the tire with the most wear at this point.
Have used Discount Tires for many years on all types of vehicles.....great service and decent pricing.
Had them install a set of FALKEN's on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 last years and very happy with the wear/performance so far.

I've used Discount Tires since the Eighties, and they're one of the rare stores that has earned my loyalty. GREAT service and I've never found anything wrong with their prices. They made a mistake once (damaged a pressure sensor) and had a storewide meeting about it after I gingerly brought it up to the manager - paid me in cash out of the register for the money I'd had to pay to get it fixed at the dealer.
I wish my internet company was that good. Or my grocery store. Or . . . well, pretty much any company that you have to deal with on a periodic basis. Only thing I'd suggest is that you tip the fellows working with you: they certainly appreciate it.

I am not sure, but I thought Tire Rack and DT were now the same company. I am looking at putting a set of Firestone Destination XT's on my truck and they are the lowest cost provider I could find.

5 star! they will fix a flat, rotate tires for free, swap snow tires free. My go to store.

I've been researching on YouTube for a week and I've zeroed in on those same tires - the CrossClimate 2 for my wife's Subaru. We live at 4100' and it snows/ice here in winter so 4WD is mandatory to get in/out of where we live in this rural small town.
The many reviews I've seen on them are just outstanding.
I just bought a couple new tires for my car. The lady that took my plastic said the tires must be rotated every 5000 miles or the warranty won't cover them. I told her no problem, they rotate every time the car moves. Actually, I've never rotated my tires on any of my cars and they all kept even tread, so that part I don't understand.
I have Michelin CrossClimate2 on both of my Subaru Foresters. Excellent tires for summer and winter.

These are my first sets of the CrossClimate2 tires so I don't know the mileage they will get but hoping to get around 60,000 miles like I've had on other Michelin tires I've owned. I got these last fall and they have gotten me through a Colorado winter at 5,000 feet.

I have bought tires @ Discount for as long as I can remember. Great pricing, free rotations & their warranty is great also. I even have their credit card which is good @ gas stations every where. Easy to track spending for my business. I have never had an issue. They get 5 stars from me.

my local one will bargain on the extended warranty price. Before they ask about it, I say I will take it, if they discount it by 50%. They always do. So much construction in my area, I usually get a ruined tire before they all wear out. I always end up ahead on the warranty.

Check out the VA Canteen Service for tires, if you qualify. Compared its price of four Eagle RSA tires for my car versus Discount Tires's price and it was $120 less. Plus you get the same manufacturer rebates.
