In the beginning I wished for a cheaper S&W 22 revolver. I was waiting, waiting...but nothing showed up.:(

Ok i tried to settle for a lesser quality revolver in 22cal. I picked up a taurus model 94 which is ok and its a good shooter but the misses took me to the range and she shot it and its no longer mine its hers now. Since the grips are way smaller than my hand i'm glad she likes it. Then i seen a older H&R 922 22cal 6'' octagon barrel with the near full size frame / grips. I grabbed it. Its ok but its just not a S&W or a Colt ya know what i mean?

Today i said the heck with it and bit the bullet sort of speak. I ordered a 50's S&W K22 masterpiece in 22cal revolver. I was also looking at the colt but i went with the S&W first. Its in excellent condition and a collectors piece for sure but i'll baby it and take great care of it when we shoot it. Anythoughts???? Bill

BTW; I'm probably going to end up with most of the 22cal revolvers and pistols sooner or later anyhoo. But having a few top shelf 22 revolvers would be nice too. I figure i can practice shooting the similair revolvers in the cheap to shoot 22cal over shooting a magnum all the time, plus the 22's are a hoot to shoot too. We only pass this way once.....:)

not waiting

Good! Life is too short to dance with ugly girls. I too got sick of waiting and have bought a new S&w. I got a new 642-2 snub gun. S&w guns are quality handguns. Have a great time with your 22. Try competing against your wife. Have a great day.

I just lubed it with moly and the double action is smoother with no drag, less pull force and the trigger sear feels like it had an expensive trigger job done on it with just a lube. I still can't believe how using just a better lube can do all this after many years of using it now. Bill
