To the casual observer, that looks exactly like a World War II U.S. Army issue M1911-A1. It's not a perfect reproduction of any specific issued M1911-A1, but that is more than close enough to scratch the itch of wanting a generic WW II issue 1911-A1 without spending well north of $1000.Here's a photo I just snapped:

I've got a reproduction M3 shoulder holster coming tomorrow in the mail. I also will be shooting my last hundred rounds of ammo through the gun.
If it makes it to 500 rounds, I'll consider it reliable for defense.
