To Rip Off Chief Joseph...

I had been semi-retired since 2014. When the wife exited work this year on March 1st, I made it official with a second nap that day. We get all the excitement we need by doing Lay Ministry at church, gardening, and camping!

Be sure to use your "Senior Discount" every chance you get! It's not about the 5 or 10% off, it like White Hair is a badge of honor that (you earned the hard way).

Congratulations on your retirement. I have been retired 16 years. I have never been bored a second. Between shooting, reloading, reading, and my daily walks the days fly by. Enjoy every minute, no one knows how long it will last. Good luck and best wishes.

Retired in December 2018...was so busy with "projects" that I had no spare time until last year when cancer popped up and I lost my lower leg...now I'm busy learning to walk again so I can get to the range! Got a whole rack of ammo that needs to be shot! Congratulations on your retirement! You're gonna be amazed at how busy you're gonna be!

I'm coming up on 9 years retired. After 38 years in practice I retired on December 31, 2015, at 3:30 PM (but who's counting :D)

My recently departed aunt and uncle retired and came up to live in the town I live in now. They belonged to the U. S. Lighthouse Society and went all over looking at old lighthouses and working on the lenses. One day my aunt came up with a classic line, "We are so busy. When did we have time to work?"

Congrats! I'm 5 months away. Making some inquiries about a part time thing but won't jump right in, will take 1-2 months off doing nothing or rather doing whatever I want lol.

Retired in 2019. Renovated 3 houses between 2019 and 2022. Last year I was approached by a former competitor to help them introduce their products as their independent agent in North America. Twenty hours a week, more or less. Travel on their dime...work from home with a salary just enough to stop my 401k withdrawals.

Enjoy your retirement. I hope you have lots to keep you busy enough and intellectually stimulated.

God bless

Robert

Congratulations. Now you'll have time for all the stuff you put off because you were too busy (I'll do it later). It's now later. Maybe that oughta be: "I will work no more for money forever."

I can-barely-recall when I decided work wasn't ...fun isn't the right word, maybe rewarding, anymore.
