Today I became a grandpa!

Congratulations, Grimjaws, grandkids are the greatest! All the fun of kids, with little of the responsibility. Grandbaby poops in his diapers, hand him back to mom or dad, easy-peasy.
And they can be just as enjoyable and a source of pride as they get older. Mrs. swsig and I have seven grandchildren, and one grandchild-in-law, all adults (most of the time
), ages 21 to 33. All but the youngest have college degrees, including three with doctorates, and one recent grad from Harvard Law School. Although there's been only one marriage so far, our grandaughter-in-law is an absolute delight. Two more marriages are on the horizon, both to wonderful young people. All we need now are some great-grandchildren. Am I shamelessly bragging on our grandkids? You bet I am! And soon, you'll be doing the same.
