What's for dinner?

Not me, but I did eat three fried fish this afternoon with french fries. Ate a bream, warmouth bass, and a redbreast from early spring when the river got down low enough to get in. The wife fried all perfectly.

Fresh tomato, cucumber and basil salad, chicken pot pie and a homemade fresh fig pie that I baked today. Fig tree really producing this year so found a recipe and made it. First time we try it. Usually just make jam. Tasted very similar to cherry pie.IMG_0427.webpIMG_0428.webpTasted very much like a cherry pie.

Kibbeh casserole made with ground lamb, ground turkey, quinoa, Pine nuts and Lebanese spices. Served with roasted broccolini and butternut squash.

So excited, I forgot to take a photo…but, trust me, it was delicious!! And we have leftovers.

Leftover kibbeh casserole. Garden tomato, feta and basil salad lightly dressed with olive oil, lemon/lime vinaigrette.
