Today is my birthday...

Happy Birthday! More power to ya! I'm thinking I might be going that way in a few years. Tell us how you like your new ride.

I wish you a happy and healthy birthday. :)

Hope you love your new place and the new wheels. There's always the option of landing gear, if you miss leaning on the curves.

Jeez! Bigwheel! I never used training wheels in my life. learnt to ride a bycicle in one afternoon when I was 4.;)

I saw a frail man that must have been in his 90s, using reverse gear to back up a Goldwing while walking next to it. Only made possible by the landing gear.

Congrats, congrats and congrats, Capt. Steve!

I am envious of the Spyder and trips to 2 of my favorite NP's.

Well done! Wishing you both all the best in the year ahead in your new location. :D

I am 69 today and loving life. At 5' 9" and 180# I am about as fit as I have ever been. This afternoon I will be riding my Indian Springfield for the last time as I head down to Phoenix {100+ miles} to trade it in and take delivery of my new ride, a 2017 Can Am Spyder. I've logged 100,000+ miles over the last 8 years but for a lot of reasons it is time to make the old guy transition to 3 wheels...

Ain't you old geezers supposed to be rolling around in
motorhomes or something?

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Sorry I'm a day late wishing you that but I spent yesterday snoozing out in my creaky rocking chair like old people are supposed to do.

Happy B Day! Riding M/Cs does get in your blood. I'm 81 and have my 38th M/C up for sale. I have balance issues now and have decided that discretion is the better way to go. My last bike is a H-D, 2015 Low Rider changed into a mini-touring go-fast. Went back to Virginia in 2015 on it and rode the Blue Ridge Parkway (disappointing with the 45 mph speed limit) and the Tail of the Dragon (A little dangerous because of all the out of control hot doggers also riding). Last Spring I made a circuit from LV to Tonopah to Rachel to St. George and back to Vegas. I went a little early in the year and a little too soon after recovering from two cancer operations and it got a lot colder than I was really comfortable with. All in all I am very happy to have been able to ride M/Cs for more than 70 yrs of my life. With your new 3-wheeler I hope you two are still riding at your 80th.

Wow, just wow!...

This Forum never fails to amaze. The outpouring of kind thoughts and words
really made my birthday something extra special in a way I never imagined possible. Thank you one and all!

Best wishes from another November baby (74 on the 12th).
