I had a combination of both bad and good luck since November.
I got burned by my job and had to leave.
I been bouncing around part time jobs since January.
My mechanic friend is getting a divorce. So his shop is closed down, and I have nowhere to work on the Torino or the 351 Cleveland.
I have absolutely no life prospects in my hometown. So I sold the Torino, and selling the Cleveland. The good news is I managed to bring my Allegro 454 back to life. I got to replace the carburetor.
I am going to try to make my escape this year.

Thank yall. The truth is the Torino project died when I rolled the C30 and sold the 427.
I’m actually happy I have the Allegro. I’m looking forward to traveling

Thank you. I’m actually in the process of one huge endeavor that the Allegro is meant to serve.
I tell you this, it’s a strange experience doing a tune up to a house

Maybe this will put a smile on your face. 1969 Torino Cobra. Before I bought it the previous owner sold the 428 CJ and put a tired old 390 in. Back in the mid-80's I had Allen Root build me a fresh 428CJ for it. Root built Bob Glidden's pro stock engines. Maybe I should have thrown down some more cash and had him build me a 427 side oiler but the CJ was a screamer. Scan_20240703 3.jpg10 bolt top loader with close ratio gears

Wish I still had my goldish Torino with 351 Cleveland. That was one sweet handling car.

Got it into my garage and closed it before the police came by one day. After about their fourth time around, I walked outside. They asked if I had seen it, when I told them it was in the garage. Told them the road had sand on it from rain the day before, and it was an incline up to the stop sign. Told them about the 351 Cleveland, and they verbally asked me to slow down a bit if I could and left.

We moved and lost many things. Ain't no sunshine when she's gone.

Torino are amazing and underrated cars.
I will make another thread about my findings in my Allegro
