I've had a used 629-6 for a couple months now, nice gun, 6" stainless, no problems other than lousy weather to properly have fun with it while getting it sighted in better, except one thing: the rubber stocks tame the recoil just fine and it fits my hand real nice, but why on God's green Earth did they use a T-10 Torx-head screw to hold them in place? Other than those tamper proof bolt & screw heads that you see usually in elevators & restrooms, the Torx head is one of the rarest set of drivers that many people have. Often on cars the lenses on the lights have them, too, so I suppose they are becoming more popular in the standard do-it-yer own selfers' tool sets. They've had flat-head screws on guns for years so why change? I've accumulated a ton of hand tools of all types over the years of Commercial/Industrial RHVAC service, but that's beside the point! It just doesn't make sense to me; perhaps I'm missing something?
