What size/type driver do I need to remove the new style rubber grips on current production J frames? Thanks!

My new 642-1 came with the soft S&W logo grips and were held on by an overtightened 3/32" hex head cap screw.
I like the grips and wanted to be able to use them, but elected to remove them when it first arrived for the usual reasons. They were so tight, it was nearly impossible.
In retrospect, I should have broken out the hammer driven impact driver that I have used on alloy motorcycle engine fasteners in the past.
