Tower P'53 Enfield Rifled Musket

A while back I was fortunate to find a beautiful Enfield Pattern 1853 rifled musket that shipped to the Confederates. A little later an advanced collector let me have the proper bayonet and scabbard for it.

Since it fits more in my brother's collection of early martial arms than mine, he is now the curator of it. He recently sent me these pictures that I thought you might enjoy.

My goodness that's beautiful. The condition is remarkable!
 
That's the nicest P53 that I've ever seen. I have one also dated 1862 that I bought in Morgan City, Louisiana several years ago but it's nowhere near as pristine as yours. Great rifle. Thanks for posting the photos.
