As to the identity of the tracks, I’m going with lihpster and the migratory starfish.
I’m 6 miles from Alma CO. which is the highest incorporated town in the lower 48 at 10,361. My home is 4 miles further up the mountain at 11,030 GPS altitude. So you are correct. I’m not at 11,000.

When friends visit me they also get headaches. I keep oxygen bottles around for visitors.
As for me, I’m 73 yrs old and have acclimated to the altitude over time. I’ve been a pilot for 30 years and have spent thousands of hours over 10,000 ft. When I started flying I’d grab the oxygen bottle at 9500 ft. Now I get on the bottle at the mandated 12,500.
In the summer I regularly ride my dirt bike through mountain passes up 13,200.
I live here for the peace it affords.
