So I was trying to decided if I should trade my Springfield XDS .45 (yea the new one) for a new M&P9c or M&P40c my choice. Looking for some opinions. I wasn't to thrilled when I shot the XDS.

The 9c is kind of a handful with a regular mag. But if you are only planning on using it for a defense gun, it is adequate. We keep a full size magazine in ours with an XGrip on it most of the time, it's a little easier to shoot that way.

Go for the 9c and get some cash on top because there is a good sized gap in value there.

To each their own but wondering if you have huge hands? I've got a 9c and it fits my med-large hands perfectly with the small grip insert W/WO the finger extension. That said, it shoots tight groups and with the lightest felt recoil I've ever felt in a 9mm.

If you go with the M&PC .40, you can add a 9mm, and a .357Sig barrel, if you like, to have a "3 in 1" gun.

I'd get the 9c, or the 40c and a 9mm conversion if you want to also shoot .40. 9mm +p is best in my opinion.

I'm very partial to the M&P9c, I have large hands and the 9c feels just about perfect. I even prefer it to my new Shield as the grip is more comfortable. I have never had trouble carrying mine concealed in an IWB holster and find it to be very accurate.

Hi
I am a big fan of the 40c It's mow my EDC piece. Its size, power and Magazine capacity for me make it an ideal conceal carry piece. Its lasaer like accurate and 100% reliable (over 2,100 rnds). I can conceal the 40c just as easy as my Shield 40. I use the flush fitting magazine while carrying I have fairly large hands but the flush mag feels more comfortable. I seem to have a more solid shooting platform as I can "Positively" get two (2) fingers on the grip (with the flush mag) rather than "almost" getting three (3) (make sense) MY spare Mag is a 15 round with the Xgrip my load is the Winchester 165 grain SXT.
thanks

Well I did it, I'm the proud new owner of a M&P9c. Goes great with my M&P collection. Thanks for the imput.
