Looking for some info. I have a 19-3 4" s/n 2k67xxx with box and a glock 21 w 13 rd mags. Both have ammo 100+. I want to trade for an AR-15. My question is, how much $ should I be looking for the 19? It is 90-95%. I just don't want to give it away. Any input would help. Thanks.

This is a very widely subjective question with many variables.

Where are you going to trade said pieces? Privately or a gunshop?

There is a wide variety of "condition" from 90% to 95%...Does it include the original grips? If it doesn't, it won't be worth as much. I take it that it does since you say it has an original box, but just asking.

Also depends on location. I haven't got a clue to local prices in "wpb."

Also, which AR-15. There must be 1,000 different variations from 100 different manufacturers in all quality levels demanding different prices- so what does the dealer have the particular rifle priced for and have you shopped around to see if what they want is fair for the specific "AR style" that you desire. It also depends on whether a dealer "perceives" that he can make money on or turn quickly the pieces that you are trying to trade.

The nice thing is that if you do trade in a gunshop, you will come out the "percentage of tax rate ahead." Up here, it's 6%, so that is another factor to throw out.

Pictures are better to allow more knowledgeable members "grasp" what the ballpark price range may be.

I'm not trying to beat around the bush on trying to give you a "value" on your pieces. Many people will take a look at a gun auction site and see what someone "wants" for a piece- but that isn't the "value," it's when that piece changes hands is when "value" is realized.

I haven't a clue on a Glock, out of my league.

Hi:
I am by no means an "Expert". In my limited experence your best decision would be to sell privitely and purchase the same way.
A "Gun Shop" or "Pawn Shop" is not going to give you anywhere near the value your firearms are worth.
The next best option is to deal with a Forum member. Unless you are in the same area, the shipping charges from FFL to FFL is not CHEAP.
Posting photos of your firearms will assist a great deal in the knowledgeble Forum Members in giving an accurate value of your Firearms
It is possible that a Forum member has what you are looking for and wants what you have.

350ish on the 19. Give or take. Maybe you can get 400. I paid 350 not so very long ago off AA for a 19-3 in roughly that condition.

The Glock, eh. Maybe 450, 500 tops. Depends on how many mags, how worn, and how badly someone wants it.

Together, if you you sold them FTF, you'd have enough to order a CMMG from CDNN.

I bought a 19-3 a few months ago for $250.00. Sold it for $325.00 before I left the gun show. All I did to it was buy a 19-3 box with papers, no tools, for $20.00 and added the revolver to the box. Just last week bought a Glock 21 with 3 high caps and 2 ten round mags for $325.00. Night Sites were totally dead but sent them off to be relamped. Total investment is under $400.00.
