I have an opportunity to trade a very clean no-lock 642 for my very clean no-lock 3" 60LS. Trade would be one for one. Opinions from the group. Would you do it???

Thanks

Jeff

I personally wouldn't, but I like the versatility of the 3" tube and being able to shoot in sa. YMMV

Depends on your primary usage. The 642 will conceal and carry better, but the 60 will be easier to shoot accurately with. Both are excellent J-frames, and I have similar models. If I was faced the choice, I'd keep the 60 as I feel it has better overall value for different tasks, from CCW to out and about in the woods.

I agree with the above posts, no deal. Imho, the 60 is a more versatile revolver and worth a few more clams.

Two issues here:
1) which gun fits your mission better (concealed-carry, plinking, trail gun,?)
2) which gun is worth more.
For example, a model 642 might fit your mission better but I'd guess that your model 60 is probably worth more money.
